Practice what you learn
The Latin dance community is a friendly and social place to be. We offer regular dance practicas, parties and events where you can use and practice everything that you’ve learned in our classes.
We also run workshops in between terms, which usually contain content that fall outside of our regular curriculum. Sometimes we have special guest teachers (from NZ and overseas) who will share their expertise with you - so keep an eye out, you don’t want to miss them!

SALSA LATIN PARTY
📍 Two Right Feet, 175 Vivian St
🕕 8:45 — Free Salsa beginner’s class
🕕 9:20pm–12:30am — Social dancing
🕕 9.20pm DJ Libaila will spin some new and old tunes
10pm - 11pm Guest DJ Oliver will look after your good mood and keep you busy on the dance floor.
Everyone is welcome, including beginners. Come along for a fun night of dancing and socialising.

SALSA LATIN PARTY
Join the hottest and most welcoming Salsa Latin Party in Wellington, New Zealand. We play music for all tastes and styles. Salsa, Bachata, Zouk & Kizomba.
Dancers from all levels are welcome, so bring your friends and let’s dance.
An introductory class to either Salsa or Bachata is included in your ticket.
This starts at 8.45pm. Juice and snacks are provided.

SUNDAY SALSA PRACTICA
We run this regular practica for those who find socials still a bit daunting. Here you can practice what you’ve learned in Salsa and Bachata class and ask students and teachers for feedback.
In Summer, we usually host FREE outdoors praticas, in the beautiful little spots that Wellington has to offer. In the Winter season, we host the practica at local dance studios. Check the location regularly, as it can change each practica.

BAILAMOS BACHATA
A Bachata-focused social that runs every second Sunday of the month. Hosted by one of our Bachata instructors (Mike) and his partner Michelle. A free lesson is included, and is being done in turns by all Bachata schools in Wellington.

Welcome to a brand BaZouka party for 2025 at FootNote NZ Dance Studio
We are bringing back the classic and classy Bazouka socials.
One room of Brazilian Zouk and one room of Bachata.
This is truly epic and will be amazing if you dance Bachata, Brazilian Zouk or even both!
